2023 GMC 1500 AT4 carbon pro bed looking for bed cover

In all honesty if I didn’t have it I wouldn’t miss it, not would I make it a make or break option for future purchases. I think the limited options for covers, racks, bed accessories is the biggest detractor. The cool factor of the bed is not worth the loss. I did find a rack that is made and adapted to the carbon pro bed and works great.

No. BAK has modified rails that attach to the bed underneath the bed rail caps. There are U-nuts that slide in the existing holes in the bed for mounting. They have videos on their site showing mounting instructions. Good place to look at to see if you’re up to the task. Pretty easy one person install. Have had mine on for 4y and no real issues.

I agree! The cool factor is definitely not worth the loss in accessories. No to say there are accessories coming out for it as we speak. I do think for those that do not utilize a cover and ride, this is a great option for dirt bikes. I am still happy with it and would probably get it again, no fade, black wheel wells, no dents, more hooks and mine came with the Kicker Tailgate system....
