2022 Refresh Order Experience

My truck shipped last week from Mexico. Production week of 3/21. 6.2 Titanium Rush most boxes checked. Dealer told me today to expect it in 2 to 4 weeks. One thing interesting is they told me GM has sold all of the refreshed Denali Ultimates they planned on for 2022 and are not taking orders for them. They speculated the AT4 is next.

I just don't understand why everyone with the same TPW as me (3/21) is getting their trucks shipped, but mine is still sitting at 3400. I'm going crazy, I was in an accident last Saturday on my truck, and not having a truck is just making everything worse.

I feel for you. I would be pretty frustrated in your shoes. I would try to push the dealer and find out more info. Bypass the salesperson and go right to a manager.

Chevrolet Order Tracking

Is there any site besides the chevrolet one that lets you track your order? It doesn't look like gm connects is working? My order number is QZGQV5 if someone can give me some information on my 2013 Tahoe it would be greatly appreciated. Thx

My tpw was 3/14. truck has made it to Portland by boat and is now waiting to get on a truck. Dealership said hopefully next week

Honestly the whole process with this refresh has been extremely frustrating and GM really needs to do something about their customer experience. Their allocation process makes no sense. If you reserved a truck back in the fall, the dealer you reserved through should have been given an allocation for you. Instead people who in good faith reserved a truck early are being punished based on the dealer they picked. Then everything gets delayed even more. Then we find out features will be missing and then two price increases. I built and ordered Feb 4. Last week my truck was accepted and at 2030 and now back at 1100. At this point I think I’ll just wait the 6mos to year when the lots are full and we can get rebates again.

YUP!!!! WE as the consumer have no idea what dealers are top performers and which ones aren't and we SHOULD NOT be caught in the middle of their relationship issues. GMC should build the trucks in the order they were received from us, the customer.

My truck shipped on 4/8 with a delivery date targeted on 4/28 to Arizona. Had a TPW of 4/28. Titanium rush, shirt bed, fully loaded except for sunroof and carbon pro.

Checked with dealer today, my 2022 Forest Metallic AT4 3500 diesel is in Denver. May be able to pick it up later next week.

Has anyone ordered from Dave Smith Motors in Kellogg ID? Ordered a 2022 Refresh AT4 6.2L Standard bed with Tech package on 1/31 and I'm still sitting at 1100. Wondering if anyone has insight into the number of allocations they usually get. They're marketed as "NW largest GM dealer" which is why I chose them but I'm slowly being proven wrong
