2022 Refresh AT4 1500 Duramax 3.0 Diesel Check Engine Light and Exhaust Leak

I have had this code multiple times. (P2C7A). ( I am currently at 64,000 miles - 2021 3.0) When I travel down the lease roads (15 mph or less) for long periods or after idling through Houston traffic it has popped up. First time it did it, I had let it idle at rig site and of course our truck shuts off automatically after like 45 minutes, it popped up after that. I have the Banks I-dash and verify code. For me, it will go off after I have driven it at highway speeds for a while, or after 3 trip cycles. The last time it happened, I cleared the code with the banks I-dash and it hasn't popped up again.

Got the emissions codes today after 380 miles. For fucks sake, can any manufacturer build a new vehcile without all these issues, and known issues for that matter. Have an appointment next Monday to take it back and get whatever needs fixed

So I picked up my 2022 AT4 refresh on June 21st. All was well, no issues, ran like a tank. On July 6th the check engine light came on and I received an email alert to service the emissions system. I had only put one tank of fuel in it after going through the tank the dealership put in it. The check engine light turned off and came back on about 3 more times in the matter of 4 days. When I parked the truck on the evening of July 10th I heard a hissing sound coming from the front driver's side engine compartment, kind of like a pressure release of air. As I drove the truck to the dealership on July 11th, I heard a loud slapping sound coming from the engine compartment on the driver's side, like a hose had popped off and was hitting the sidewall as I drove. The drive was only a few miles and I nursed it in there. A few days later the dealership stated they received a notification from the factory that GMC issued a notice about the Duramax 3.0 having issues with exhaust leaks and stated only #2 diesel fuel should be fueled in the engine. I only put 2 tanks of #2 diesel in it and I had about 1400 miles on it. Here we are 10 days after turning the truck in for service and the dealership stated GMC has alerted them to a production problem with the catalytic converter and they need to remove the turbo and replace the exhaust components. Truck might be done next week. My truck was made in Mexico. Has anyone else experience this?
Same issue. Just dropped mine off to dealership today. Right at the end of November beginning of December last year my 2021 GMC sierra 1500 AT4, 3.0 Turbo Duramax check engine light came on with an email saying to service a motion system. It’s not running rough or anything but same thing it came on cleared and stay clear for a couple of weeks then went to start with the remote and it wouldn’t start went out to check it and the check engine light was back on drove it for about 90 miles and it cleared again for about two weeks again whenever is parked and not even being driven I got diagnostics report from the GMC app saying the check engine light was on to service admission again it’s at 30,800 miles so I figured I better get it in while it’s still under warranty and see what’s going on they said plan on leaving it there for a few days just to get it looked at from what I’m reading. I imagine it will be there for at least three weeks. Yeah good times!!!

Mine cleared after a day. Assuming it is going to come back. Someone posted there is a ECM update that can be done via a TSB. Ready to pull all this emissions garbage off the second my warranty is up. Complete gov scam.
