GMC has had issues with that soft feel coating on their interiors for years. First GMC I had was a 2005 Yukon Denali. The center console had it and over the years looked pretty bad. I ended up stripping it all off and found some Testors model spray paint that matched the color almost perfectly. Never had the peeling issue again after that.

That is a great idea, I’m doing this, thanks Joray. What do you recommend for a cover for the bed? Bob

There are a lot of great brands out there. I personally have the Retrax on both of my Sierras. I have a 2017 Denali and a 2020 AT4. I went with the electric models on both and have them synched to the homelink buttons to open and close. I did have an issue with the one on my AT4 where it would stop about 6 inches from closing all the way. I contacted my installer who reached out to Retrax and they replaced the whole unit no questions asked. I did provide them video of the issue, overall great customer service.
