Build Journal for my 2023 1500 AT4

Are you using an Android box of some sort?
Yes, along with the torque app. It will run anything that I use. Ring doorbell, youtube, agsense irrigation monitoring, mygmc, waze, colornote, etc. It fits perfect to the right of the usb ports in front of console, using velco.

That looks like an interesting app that would display on the now useless infotainment center in my 22 Refreshed At4 LM2. Please share where one can find it and how difficult is it to install?
I did buy the I Dash and am waiting on the Derringer release.(y)
He's using the Torque app on an Android device like the one seen here:

There are ton of similar boxes ranging from $75 - $400, so I'm not sure which variation he has. I've considered getting one myself, but it's low on my priority list.

This one is cool because it has an HDMI output you can stream to an external screen. Would come in handy for tailgating with a big TV or hooking up some smaller screens on the back of the headrests for the kids:

Edit: nevermind, he responded above with specifics for his setup. Definitely awesome capabilities.

Thank you!

I'm actually planning on going red+black for the emblems, rather than the black+chrome replacements from GMC. I just haven't figured out whether I want to paint them myself or order some from eBay.

Both styles and color schemes definitely look good, though!

I agree with leaving the red on the emblems to accent the other red on the truck, but I'm looking for a way to make the outline black.

Hyper dip the back GMC Badge looks good and is easy

Random question: Does the truck's microphone work with the Ring doorbell app to talk to whoever is at your door?

Looks great! Did you have to use a razor blade to cut out the red part, or did the dip naturally separate along the red edges? Did you do the front, as well?

Nope. Came right out. I did not do the main front logo as I am waiting for the black light-up logo to come out. I did have to razor blade the "red 4" from the other logos.

I would also check out this carplay box as a option a bit cheaper

I decided to install some of these next:

ES ENGINEERED BY SCHILDMEIER Stake Pocket Cover Set

They popped right in, sit perfectly flush, and look like they came from the factory IMO. No issues.

Thanks for the heads up I ordered with the hard trifold cover but I’m guessing I’m gonna need to fill the stake pockets.

I actually ordered the 128 Carlink version of the one in your first link. The one I ordered was $200, which is odd as it has more internal storage as the one you linked, is the same brand, same processor, supposed to be Android 12. So not sure why it would be $100 less, but if it works as advertised and has the specs as advertised, I will be happy.

It is supposed to be here late next week. We will see how it works, as I will be taking a 1000 mile road trip Saturday the 18th, so hoping this Carplay box works as advertised. If not... back it goes to Amazon.

How did you remove the front "in grill" at4 badge?
I had the dealership do it, so I'm not entirely sure. I think they removed the bolts holding the top of the grill, pulled the top edge toward them, then reached down behind the grill to remove the clips for the old one. That's how they described the process to me.
You should be using affiliate links. You sold me the green gas cap and the bed stake plugs so far.
HA! Just glad to help, brother. 🍻
