1500 AT4 Rearview Mirror Adjustment

I looked closer at mine yesterday to get a better idea. The mirror pivots on the end of the arm which seems to have a ball type joint. Not a ton of vertical adjustment there. But where the stubby little arm attaches to the windshield (or windshield camera housing) there is also a pivot. That little arm is what you'll need to give a little force to move up. Get it close with the arm and then fine tune with the mirror on the end of the arm.

Hope that gibberish makes some sense.

I'm 6'1" and had the same issue with mine years ago, mirror wouldn't go up enough. Finally forced it past the mysterious "stop" and it tilted up a lot more. I brought it back down where I needed and it has stayed.
It does take a good bit of force.
I just did that this weekend, I was going to share the video but once I brought the arm all the way down, rotate the mirror it now sits much higher.

6'2", and was also displeased with the range of adjustment. Moved the arm and now all is good. Thanks for the suggestion.
