What did you do to your AT4 today?

What is everyone using for ceramic coating their truck and how big of a job is it?
I used Chemical Guys Hydro Slick... but the prep work is where it's at. What you need to use for prep really depends on the level paint correction needed. Basic items will include clay bar, polish, paint corrector, cutting disc, applicator, ceramic coat. Took me about 4-5 hours to complete my truck, and it was brand new so not a lot of paint correction needed.

Here is a good write up:

Welp...front windows tinted to match. Ordered an AMP PowerStep kit, RC 1.75 leveling kit (with UCA's), Blackvue DR900X dashcam, Pedal Commander, and the mudflap delete kit (Sharp Truck). Everything is supposed to arrive by this weekend. Gonna be happily busy!
Did you ever install the AMP power steps? If so, how do you like them? Did you take a hit on your fuel milage with the pedal commander? No can do the front window tint. It's illegal here in NY.

Installed the rear trailer camera on my 22' enclosed car hauler this weekend. Install was pretty straightforward, but getting the truck to recognize the camera has been less than stellar. If anyone else has had some experience with connecting the camera, please chime in with a solution or two.

Thanks!
Switch off the engine incl door closing and wait a few minutes, before hooking up trailer. Then re-enter the car and start. Hooking up with running engine never worked solar by me.

I switched to Elevation rims on my new 2023 1500 AT4 when it was at the dealership still. I like the black wheels more than the originals. Would have liked to had the option when I ordered it, or the Carbon Pro Argent colored wheels are sharp as well. I had BFG AT's put on as well, 295/60/20. They rub slightly when full turn, but I can live with it. I was happy to be able to get the trailer tow mirrors factory installed and have it built without all the missing microchips that my 2022 had. Only thing not installed was a steering wheel lock, which I do not really care about anyway.

Had the door sill protectors for a while, added the matching padded seat belt sleeve recently. Super comfortable. Also added the red sleeves for the dash knobs. One of the 2 climate knobs didn't fit, so I chucked it up on the lathe and removed about .015 to get it to fit. Adds a little color to the dash.

Had my film guy install PPF on the A, B & C pillars where the gloss black was already showing scratches and wear with less than 6k miles. It really makes a big difference, looks better than it did when it was brand new.

Also installed the matte screen protector...highly recommend doing both.

Replaced the Bose speakers with Audiofrog GS25 in the dash, Focal ICU690 in the front doors, and Focal 165AC in the rears. I also Damplified the four doors with Damplifier Pro. Took about 7 hours and the sound is so much better. At some point I may look into an amp but I am happy at the moment.

Got to speak to onstar because my data plan was somehow showing inactive therefore the google system wasnt working as it should. They fixed the issue within 10 minutes while I was driving on the interstate. Gave me an extra month of unlimited data as a sorry. Found out you can disable the proximity unlock buttons on the door handles. I was crawling around in the bed and accidentally held the lock and unlock buttons down together for at least 3 seconds and it disabled the unlock buttons and the tailgate release button. After a day of scratching my head when the door handle unlock buttons weren’t working I did a google search and discovered this “feature”.
how did you get it back?

Thanks. Yes MPG. The only thing I don’t like about , what I call the enhanced cruise is it is not truly adaptive and has no learning capabilities built into the SW. it needs AI. It is jerky, especially when a vehicle turns in front of you , it breaks too hard and for too long.
it mimics my wife's driving
