How long order to start of production for most? Ordered in feb here. Was told may by a dealer and the gmc chat guy told me no production date in sight…

Ordered a 2500 first week of November and took delivery the first week of march

My story is I ordered my '22 AT4 at the first part of November '21 and after the confirmation of the build, I receive no info about it until May of '22 that it was being shipped(I remember being a little shocked since I'd written it off and actually kind of forgot about it). Then in August '22, sure enough I received a call that it was coming in and would be available for pick up that week. I'd actually gone in a different direction; didn't plan to buy it and only went to the dealership to see if this unicorn really existed. Sure enough, there it was exactly as I'd ordered it and even better since the one I first ordered was the previous '21 model without the updated '22 with the new dash, entertainment system and grill, and for the same price as I'd originally ordered. I wasn't going to buy it, but with how screwed up the world is I thought I'd better since I may never have the opportunity again. So from submitting the order to pick up was approximately 9 months. I've had the truck since Aug./Sept. of '22 and absolutely love it.

I must be blessed! I found my 2022 AT4 gasser sitting on the dealers lot last year so I pulled in and bought it.

Got an email last week confirming 1may production (TPW) of my At4x in metallic bronze. Find it wierd I haven’t even able to find any of them online in this color. Only elevations and an at4 every once in a while…

I'm sitting at 4300 for 2 weeks now.

My AT4 is sitting in an overflow lot in Indiana where it has been for at least the last month. Its a long trip to Alaska and I am not optimistic I will see it within a month at this rate. I had originally placed in order in Feb but I cannot wait 6-12 months for a new truck and put a deposit on this one that is "in transit".

After over three months of watching a truck sit in a parking lot (4300?) in Indiana, with no plan in sight for shipping it, I took my deposit back and puchased one down in Seattle - in stock and exactly what I wanted. Should be here on Monday.
