Dealer just called and said my truck is about to be shipped to dealer. Ordered 2/8/23. Deep bronze AT4, tech and preferred package.

Picking it up this coming Wednesday, can't wait to drive it home.
How did you get your status code from the chat function?A quick update for those who are interested in timing/progress. I checked with GMC yesterday (via the chat function) and it still says my production week is 2/27. Event code is 3400. I ordered on 1/19. Not sure whats going on...

Does it matter if it’s an X? I ordered one in metallic bronze. The week I ordered they couldn’t give me a definitive answer on when as they showed none were even being built that week…Ordered mine on Feb 8th, and production is complete. Should be at dealer sometime with week. I do believe it was one the dealer was expecting to get for retail stock, so I’m not sure if it was actually ordered on Feb 8th or it was ordered prior to the dealer putting my name on the order.
I’m not sure on that. I do know it seems to be very hit or miss on turn around dates. Standard packages seem to have the most time friendly turn around. Any additions no matter how small can lead to weeks or months increase. My buddy ordered an Elevation, and wanted different factory wheels and some other small factory mod and ended up waiting 11 months. He could’ve ordered it and done his changes after delivery and saved several months on his delivery time.Does it matter if it’s an X? I ordered one in metallic bronze. When did you order?Just got the email saying mine has left the factory. Fingers crossed it gets to the dealer soon.

Steveo: Sorry for the late reply here, but wanted to wait until I picked mine up. The short answer for 2023 is yes, the only difference is the steps. In 2022, the premium package included the Sierra Safety Plus package, which included the 360 cameras, lane change, etc. If you look at the actual ordering guide here: https://www.gmfleetorderguide.com/NASApp/domestic/vehiclesel.jsp?year=2023®ionID=1&divisionID=2 (select Sierra 1500, print booklet). It's 219 pages. If you go to page 46, RPO code PED you'll see isn't available for AT4, 4X, Denali, Ultimate. It's not available as it's standard for 2023. Again, this was an option in 2022, so if you're buying an older one off the lot, ensure PED is on the window sticker if you want all of those features. Additionally on page 94 you'll see that UFB and UKK are included as standard (again, 2023 only)2023 premium vs preferred package. Is there more to the premium package than just the additional high clearance steps? It looks to me that the premium pkg also incudes the 360 view cameras , lane change alerts, etc that the preferred does not include?? Anything else?
