2023 AT4X - Leveled, 34’s, and Blacked Out Badging

Lots of good info in this thread .

On my 22 AT4X I think I am going to go with the stock 18’s with 295/70 recon grappler, 3/4 “ wheel spacer , zone UCA , 2” body armor level .

Based on Texas And Debo’s experience , with 3/4” spacer that would be equivalent to a +7 wheel offset which should be enough clearance for the UCA’s. Hopefully trimming is minimal by not going any wider stance.

If I can get away with 1/2” spacer I may try that first to further minimize trimming .

Hopefully a good shop can do the trimming as I would rather not do that myself .

I'm about to order Bilstein 5100's and install them using the middle setting(0.55 lift) then remove the small preload spacer from the Zone kit,. So reinstall only using the larger preload and the top spacer which should net me an overall 1.925" lift and I get a better ride. Haven't heard of anyone doing this before but based on the OP comments here of just using a 2" top spacer with the Zone control arms seemed to work I don't see why this wouldn't.

Did you change anything in the rear?

I'm also getting very confused about which UCAs would work with 295r60 tires and 20x9 +1 Fuel wheels. I'd like to use the beefier Zone kit, but now concerned that I won't clear the UCAs with that setup.

No rear is stock. I have a 3/8 Bora spacer on all 4 so that helped clear the upper ball joint but it's rubbing on the upper A-arm at full lock so I need to limit the steering. If you had a wider wheel spacer or more offset it would probably be fine but there's no way the 295 wide would fit with much more offset with the 1.75 level only.

Why would this net a better ride quality? Moving the perch on the 5100’s is exactly the same as adding a preload spacer right? Should be same same

So did you ditch the small preload spacer?
I have the RL SST and am putting the 5100's on as well.
Seems same same to me as well.
Keep us posted.

Great local shop, big shout out to Andrew the owner for great experience and overall service. Highly recommend to anyone in the Central TX area. My buddy his taking his ZR2 there next month to get the same lift and set up installed.
Your truck looks amazing, great job on everything.

I have the AT4 HD 2023, I assume he works on these as well?
I'm not far in Liberty Hill.

Better ride from the Bilsteins vs Rancho, not the change in preload setup. That was my point, preload is preload regardless whether from a spacer or setting on the shock.

Anyone know why the Zones website no longer lists the ZONC1172 as a kit? Wonder if they are making changes to it ??

I know right! I think the actual AEV Edition will come with the winch. Dealership didn’t have ability to order the AEV one yet, but I’ll be adding the one they recommend for the bumper when it’s ready, or just add an aftermarket one that will fit
I have the at4X AEV edition. Doesn't come with the wench. You have to buy separately

where did you get the black on black Fuel center caps?
The owner of the shop called the wheel provider and ordered them directly, so Fuel does make them. I think they were only $50 for the set of 4 so definitely worth the expense IMO. Sorry I don’t have a part number but I’m sure they can be ordered from whoever you get the wheels from our contact Fuel directly. Thanks and good luck!
