What shop did it for you. Very niceHi All, finally picked up my truck today from the shop and really happy with the aftermarket selections. I have a few more to go, but wanted to provide some parts if anyone looking at similar mods in the future. Truck started with 2.25” rake and now measures 41” front and 41.5” in rear. Very happy with the stance with having still the 1/2” rake.
Front:
- Zone Off Road new UCA that is made for their 1.75” leveling kit. The shop owner feels these are the best that are reasonably priced and after feeling them, I believe him. Very heavy duty and also look great. The link below shows the whole kit, but you can buy just the UCA for $600.
1.75
Specially designed for the 2019-2021 Chevy Trail Boss and GMC AT4 trucks, these kits are designed to a higher standard, working within the parameters of the factory suspension and steering geometry to maximize potential while allowing optimal clearance for larger tires. Kits include strut...zoneoffroad.com
- 2” spacer kit from Body Armor 4x4. This is a top spacer that provides the lift. Not AT4X specific but the shop had used these on a couple Silverado ZR2 with same DSSV set up and worked very well. Aligned and drives great, more to come after a few miles on the truck.

2007-2024 GMC SIERRA 1500/YUKON/YUKON XL/CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500/AVALANCHE/TAHOE/SUBURBAN SUV 2WD/4WD 2" STRUT SPACER
Fits up to 32" tires Bolt-on installation Stock ride quality Quickly return to stock Fabricated from 1/4'' steel and uses grade 10 hardware Fits larger wheels and tires Does not fit Trailboss models, Magnaride suspension vehiclesbodyarmor4x4.com
The AT4X has the DSSV shocks, so keeping those of course. Didn’t touch the rear suspension as my truck had a 2.25” rake before level.
Tires I went with the new Toyo RT Trail in a 295/60r20. (33.9x11.8) supposed to be very quiet on road and only 62 lbs which is great for a LT tire in this size. First 50 miles driving I would say they are equivalent to the Nitto Recon Grappler, which are just a little quieter than the Ridge Grappler.
The Open Country R/T Trail is an On/Off-Road Rugged Terrain Tire.
The Open Country R/T Trail rugged terrain tire delivers better off-road grip than a traditional all-terrain tire, most evident in sand, mud, and deep snow.www.toyotires.com
Wheels are Fuel Blitz 20x9 +1 offset. I wanted the +20 but the thinker UCA barely rubbed at full lock, so went with +1 to give me clearance and a more aggressive stance. Wheels came with black/chrome caps, so switched to the all black Fuel center caps. Def worth the $50/set of 4!
- Back Flip tonneau cover
- GM Parts for blacked out AT4X badging and 6.2L side fender badges. Still need to replace front grill red/chrome, but black was out of stock and didn’t want the chrome surround. PS the illuminated GMC badge GMC sells doesn’t fit the new grill with AEV bumper, nor does the AT4X tiny badge on lower driver side of grill. Will paint myself later I guess.
- Front windows tinted to match the rear
Thanks and hope this helps!

This is the only one by Rough Country that is AT4X specific. I purchased it and decided not to install it as the other adaptive option just looked and felt stronger. Plus the off road shop owner suggested going the other direction I did for the same reasons after successfully doing so on a ZR2 which had the same suspension setup.

1.5 Inch Leveling Kit | AT4X/ZR2 | Chevy/GMC 1500 (22-26)
Give your GMC Sierra AT4X or Chevy Silverado ZR2 a level stance with Rough Country’s 1.5in Leveling Kit. Easy bolt-on install, improved ride quality, and room for larger tires!www.roughcountry.com
Thanks
Thanks and sorry for doubting anyone with their build gameplan. I personally didn’t care for the build quality and look/feel of the RC kit. When it arrived, there was power coating already chipping off the lower spacer piece, which would then be susceptible to rust easily. See pic attached. The other 1/2 of the kit is plastic, so $70 makes sense for this kit. I did not install it, so I can’t give a review on performance and fit. Other guys have installed it and seem to be happy with the results.First of all man your truck looks awesome!!!! I have a 2022 and just bought the rough country leveling kit. I am not clear why you didn’t like it for your setup..I’m nervous now. My plan was to go leveling kit, mudflap omit kit, add no additional lift and go the fuel 20 x 9 +1 or worst case 18 x 9 +1 and then do nitto ridge grappler 34’s which I believe are same size as your toyos. I unfortunately don’t have a quality mod shop nearby. In your experience will this work without trimming? This process is painful lol

Are you saying that the stock wheel/tire combo rubbed at full lock with the Zone UCA?Wheels are Fuel Blitz 20x9 +1 offset. Hey Fishy, not sure about stock wheel and if they would rub. But the 20x9 +20 offset Fuel wheels did rub the thicker aftermarket UCA at full lock when combined with 295/65r20 tires (35x11.8)Are you saying that the stock wheel/tire combo rubbed at full lock with the Zone UCA?
Interesting and thanks for the info. I know that people are getting away with ReadyLift 1.75 + UCA with stock AT4 wheels and 285/65's. Does this mean that the Zone UCAs are thicker than the RLs?Hey Fishy, not sure about stock wheel and if they would rub. But the 20x9 +20 offset Fuel wheels did rub the thicker aftermarket UCA at full lock when combined with 295/65r20 tires (35x11.8)
The stock 23’ AT4X wheels are 18x8.5 and have a +26 offset with 275/70r18 tire (33x11). It’s possible the narrower tire and wheel, even though more positive offset that sit closer in, might clear with these UCAs but I didn’t test for that to confirm.
Thanks and hope this helps

I just had the Zone 1.75 kit installed on my 23 AT4 3.0 with stock 20's and 295/60 Trail Grapplers and even with a 3/8 spacer it rubs on the upper A arm at full lock(just barely). A narrower tire or more offset/larger spacer would be fine. The kit is stout so glad I went with it over the Readylift, but I didn't have this problem on my 21 w/Readylift due to the Zone control arms are a bit larger bulkier. The kit also came with a steering stop that the dealer didn't install so I will either use that or weld a nut to the lower control arm to limit the steering. Next is replacing the Ranchos with Bilstein 5100s so I'm trying to figure out the best way to go there.I'm going with the same size wheels and tires that you're using. It sounds like the complete Zone kit is the way to go with my AT4, rather than adding the Body Armor spacers instead.
I was really hoping to stick with stock 20's on 285/65 so it sounds like i'll have to go RL.I just had the Zone 1.75 kit installed on my 23 AT4 3.0 with stock 20's and 295/60 Trail Grapplers and even with a 3/8 spacer it rubs on the upper A arm at full lock(just barely).
