What's new

What's the story behind your forum name?

Thank you to the guys and gals that served! Many years ago I when I was young I bought a brand new boat and needed to name it. At the time I had an English Bulldog and a Bloodhound and I was known for those dogs for some reason. So it made sense to put them together to get Bullhound. Seems ridiculous now that I'm older but I use it most of the time and it's usually available when I need a name lol.
That's awesome I just lost my bloodhound lab mix Nov last year. She was the best dog, almost human like. I swear we knew what each other was thinking. I didn't want another dog and my wife came home with a Bloodhound / coonhound mix this past weekend. I wasn't ready for a puppy, but my kids are happy so I gotta see this through for them.
Oh yea my name is obvious, a truck I was restoring before the puppy.

I'm originally from Rhode Island, which is not an island, but frequently confused with Long Island by ppl not familiar with New England. I hear it all the time now that I live in Tampa and have to explain why it's called Rhode Island if it's not an island. Sooo, Island Dan.

Dogs are better than people — at least most people. Losing them is miserable.

Glad you have a new friend. I’ve come to believe the phrase, “It’s better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.”

Rhode Island Red chickens on the farm. Brown eggs!

Zeeya = License plate on my 2010 Tundra that I had supercharger installed. It was fun while it lasted. 13.3@103mph was best time. I moved on, but have kept the name on the forums over the years.
