Whats the best fix or upgrade for the 10L1000 VB problem ?

You can blame me for that one man. Sorry about that. Learning the ways of the transmissions and it indeed does sound like the HD models have different transmissions than my half ton. I thought they were the same but I now believe them to be different. So I thought I was on the right topic but wasn't. Sorry man

Funny you say that, cause I thought I was searching and surfing the 2500/3500 Forums and everyone that posts threads seems to have a 1500.

Ive even seen news articles that seem to get it wrong. I saw one today with one truck type in the headline then the other in the body of the story. Im still not 100% sure.

Do the current HDs have a different 10 speed transmission than the 1500's? If so, which one is experiencing valve body issues?
