What did you do to your AT4 today?

I hear Aerosmith. Back in the saddle again.
Not sure about that but attended a show at the local casino last night Tribute to Bruno Mars . It was a lot of fun singing and dancing with the audience to Bruno classics. Not quite Vegas standard but for $12 a seat it was worth it. 😁

-14F this morning, and supposedly colder tommorrow. Fired right up though. Transmisison temp read 18F. After my 10 minute commute, trans temp got to a whopping 100F. Oh and apparentely I should have investigated a little before removing the plug in cover. I pulled the wrong way and broke one of the tabs. :cautious:

Oh hell, I thought you were talking about a cold start the whole time, until I read the last sentence and looked at the picture.

Yeah diesels do much better identifying as an hybrid when cold! 😁

Not that anybody has been keeping up with my mechanical woes but today ill be dropping my truck off at the dealer again for another CEL after just getting it back. Last night I was trying to leave work and the CEL was on for the P1098 CCV. And yes the dealer said they are 3 weeks out on rentals. I would really take this to another Chevy or GMC dealer but I'm trying to take it back to where I purchased it from so they can deal with this issue. Love this truck but damn if this experience is not testing my patients.

Anybody else have the P1098 CCV issue and what did the dealer do to help you .

Yeah, there is a rash of these failing. Coolant control valve. Should be covered under the 100k powertrain warranty.

picked up the truck yesterday after having the new CCV put in and now the truck starts funny like it takes longer to start. anybody else had this issue ?

Probably like everything else when you replace it. The computers and sensors all have to adjust to the new member of the family. The satellites and planets have to align so the signal to the mother-ship in Detroit is unobstructed. Then after two weeks it should "relearn" how it's supposed to operate. 🤦🏼‍♂️
