Toppers / Camper Shells Question?

ARE for my 2025 AT4 1500. Did a few upgrades on it and I think I was around the high $3k mark with install.

I was getting quotes for between 4-6k out here in California. I ended up finding a "used" Leer 100XR at a local shop for 2k. He gave me some story about how it was ordered and never picked up or installed, but had no warranty. I think it was all BS to be honest. It was not exactly what I wanted as It was missing pet screens and drop down rear window, but both of those things can be added after the fact( checked already $500 from a local shop). The big issue was the color was Tricoat pearl white (which is the Denali white vs. Summit White on the 4x). Figured at some point when my friend was slow I would have him re-paint it. Havent painted it yet, I can tell the difference in color, but TBH in the 6 months Ive had it, no one has commented to me once that they noticed it was different.

I Didnt think I needed the remote lock on the rear glass, but its been such a nice feature since Ive had it

Moving the rear view camera lens to the end of the camper was a must if you have the digital rear view mirror.

How Did you run your wiring? Can you post some photos?
Yeah. Vid should show you. Basically you have to patch into the vid line by pulling down the headliner above drivers side rear seat. Once you’re patched in, you run the line down through a grommet under the carpet, along other wire lines along the frame and they up into the bed, I used one of the holes in the rear drivers side of the bed, then up and out to the camera which you mount either to the 3rd brake light or body. Not too tough. Hardest part was probably getting it run through the overly hard plastic grommet. Camera comes with good instructions

Looks like you drilled through the smart cap?
