Top Tier Diesel

Hey folks, I’m in the San Antonio area and there’s only one top tier diesel for my 2025 gmc at4 truck but it is far away. Do you all recommend any diesel additives to improve economy or what do you all do? Thanks!

I use the dosing bottles for the farm equipment. I keep the bottles in a mailbox on a post by the red off-road fuel barrels.

I have the 3.0 diesel, this works for that diesel truck right?

I use more year round, 2.5 8oz bottles each fill up at 1/4 tank left. In the winter, if it's below freezing I'll do 3.

Does your filling stations have winter fuel? Are you in a normal freezing area?

I have bulk fuel at home. I run 50/50 from October to March, just because it takes that long to burn it up.

No we don't have winter fuel. It might freeze for a few days but usually stays above freezing most of the winter

Lucky you!

We can go a couple of weeks at a time below 0°. I double up on the xpd and use winter blend. Haven't had a problem with gelling up with changing the fuel filters after harvest.
