Tmat truck bed organizer

I used 2x6 and cut lengths for all the slots including those above the wheel wells. Painted them black for no other reason than having a can of black paint sitting in the garage. Matching the body color would be cool as well. Don’t keep them all in the truck but nice to have in a moments notice. I have small sandbags for a pop up awning and keep 2 of those in to keep things from sliding side to side. Necessity is the mother of all inventions.

I’ve got the t mat system in my HD 8’ bed. I like it a lot. I use a lot of Milwaukee pack outs and it is nice to lock them in. I actually used it the other day to lock in a piece of glass i was transporting. It slides nicely and is relatively inexpensive. As far as debris, I plan on drilling holes once the weather is nicer so it drains, but if debris does get in, I just blow it out, though I have a tonneau also.

I had the decked slide out system in my last truck and it was probably 5 times the cost and ate up a lot of height.

Let me know if you have any more questions or want specific pics.

Fantastic thanks for sharing. I have a tonneau cover as well. If you wouldn’t mind showing some pictures I would appreciate it!

So I bought the 8’ bed kit and then added a few extra pieces that were trimmed to fit under the rear pack outs and the ramp kit which has pulls. The one pic shows how they would click together like a puzzle. Another picture shows the backside and where I ripped it with a table saw on the left. Last pic is of all the different accessories they sell.

I really like that. I think I may go that route. I’m not super tall so the rubber mats are nice but I have to climb into the bed a lot. With the way you’re able to pull it out it would help a lot. Thank you for sharing!

No problem. I like the versatility of it. The rubber mats are hard to slide things on. This is just hard plastic and the accessories are very helpful.
