Threw code P2138 Today

Driving through a neighborhood and the truck dash lit up and threw this code. Online research says throttle body/pedal position issues? Was worried about a 6.2L death. Drove a half a mile down the road and then parked and called a tow. Anyone have experience with this code?

2024 Sierra 1500 w/6.2L. Engine was manufactured in July 2024 (just after the recall cutoff).

Could be a number of things, let the dealer figure it out under warranty.

Also I noticed you're running your fuel on almost empty... It's very bad for your fuel system and can cause catastrophic issues down the line that won't be covered under warranty. I fill up all my vehicles soon as it hits a quarter left.

Yup. Was actually on the way to fill up. Have about 15% of a tank left.
