Apparently this does not stick or comes off due to spray on bedliner or something. What has been your experience? Did you add additional glue?

My truck has the spray on liner and all I did was clean the contact area well with alcohol and used the 3M primer and it has stuck in place for over a year with no signs of coming loose. The primer is the trick.
