Amp Extremes on mine as well. Came from a '24 2500 HD Denali Ultimate and they were a must for my wife and kids.

I have AMP power steps. Was an easy/clean install for me. 56yo and still think I can do anything. Took about 6h but that was from unboxing till all cleaned up. The fishing of the wire was the longest part. Not hard but making sure everything cleared heated parts of the engine. Zip ties took a bit. I like the OBD install and have had zero issues. I did install a manual override switch so I can drop them without opening the door. Handy at the car wash or just keeping them down for maintenance.
Whichever you decide, stay vigilant keeping the motors cleaned and hinge point lubed. I have had mine caked with mud after a long off road trip. A quick spray down and dry lube on thr gears/hinges and smooth as they were installed.

Question for anyone with the factory rock sliders. Are they REAL sliders and bolted onto the frame, or are they just glorified rocker panel protectors that are body mounted in same locations as any steps are? From any imagery I can find online, they look like they are just body mounted. I'm looking to get actual, frame mounted sliders, and am looking for info and suggestions.

They bolt to the inside of the rocker panel in pre-threaded locations.

Also, the revamped wiring design on Boost M-series steps is way better than original design. It's now one central brain that goes under the hood and out of the elements. Original design has 2 stupidly placed brains (one per side) UNDER the steps, directly in the line of fire of everything. My friend's just rotted out. 10 months into ownership. It was under warranty still abd Boost being the good company they are, shipped him the all new harnesses and brain. Invoice listed all the stuff at around $600 which cost him zero. I bought the steps for him with his money so his wife wouldn't find out

Wait... to the frame? Step brackets do not mount to the frame.

You are correct. The instructions I was looking at said rocker panel frame, but really they are just threaded inserts in the back and bottom of the panel. I edited my reply.

Most of the YT reviews of the AT4X off-roading show them being pretty sturdy, but those are press vehicles and it is one or two hits to the slider going over a boulder. (not doing it repeatedly)
Admittedly I never had them on my truck. I knew my wife would want steps, and originally went with the high clearance steps when I picked the truck up from Laura GMC. She wasn't keen on spending the money on the AMP Extremes. She rode in it that way exactly twice before she looked at me on the second ride and said "go get the power steps tomorrow". LOL
Luckily I was able to recoup most of my money on the high clearance steps.
