Depends on what you want. I bought the Kicker option from GM and fills in the low end nicely. Some folks upgrade the bass in other ways by using a sub and box which is cheaper than the kicker. I've read other users have swapped out the speakers with better quality ones and that improved sound but not much in the bass department.
