Sound turns off

My question, is this on all GM vehicles or just the fortunate GMC owners?

So when I notice this have have to hit the play button to get sirus/xm working again its because my phone (iphone connected via car play) is trying to take over the audio. This is separate from the occasional audio drop out and comes back 1-2 seconds later.

Are you doing anything on your phone when this to happens?

nope.... to check it, I left my phone at the house and drove around the neighborhood... XMSirus still did it
