2025 3.0 with 40,500 miles.
Shifting from park to reverse then to drive in a driveway and immediately got th3 “service transmission” message. I drove it home 25 miles. Had zero problems up to that point. Next morning drove it 35 miles to dealer. No problems. Drives like a champ. No codes (I have a code reader) and no past issues with the truck other than onstar module issues. Told them what it did. They hooked it up and read it as a shifter control module problem. Needs to be replaced. They can get it in three days. Not covered under trasmission warranty because it’s not in transmission. Bumper to bumper ended 4k miles ago. $1,160. Part wil be in Tuesday. They provided me a rental so I wouldnt go into limp mode while driving it and waiting. Said transmission is not an issue. Sucks. Almost wish transmission went out so it’d be covered!
