I built my own wifi/bluetooth switching interface from ground up and it integrates with carplay and Alexa voice system. I can control lights from the carplay screen only after the truck starts and wifi hotspot becomes active OR from an app on my iphone using bluetooth.
I built one switching circuit for the front bumper fog lamps and another for the rear bumper fog lamps, with the rear housed in an ABS Plastic Dustproof/Waterproof Electrical Project Enclosure Box, bolted somewhere below the rear bumper.
Its complicated and not an easy build, however, I built it since at the time the only switcher available was the Garmin (and others like it) which need wires running through the firewall plus a physical switcher in the cockpit.
There are no wires through the firewall or anywhere into the cockpit; each set of lights are powered from the closest power source, front directly from the battery while the switching circuit is powered from an ignition driven Fuse #12 (I think). The rear switching circuit is powered off trailer lights power source. The system runs on a 2.4ghz Hotspot (plus bluetooth as backup) from the hotspot generated by my BlackVue Dashcam setup.
