My 1500 AT4X is a 2023 with the 6.2L (X2). The truck rides great on smooth highways and even on most bumps, but on certain imperfections the rear suspension hits very hard. The front suspension seems fine but the rear can be pretty violent, especially for riders in the back seat. I’m thinking the compression valving in the DSSV shocks may be the issue. They seem to work fine on slow compressions but are overly stiff on the quicker hits.
Before I start throwing money at rear suspension mods, I thought I’d run it by the group and see if this is an issue others have experienced and if they came up with a fix.

Agree. I had a '23 AT4 and switched out the Ranchos for Kings. Best ride on the planet. Bought my '24 AT4X with DSSV and was thinking they would be as good. Not even close. Parking lot speed bumps feel like a rigid frame. Freeway is fine. Really miss my Kings but seems like such a waste to get rids of the DSSVs for nothing on the dollar and put another $4K into shocks. No easy fix for you.

I’ve never been impressed with the DSSVs, but my crappy ride was because of the air bags. Once I took them off, there was a big improvement in the ride quality. Never run Kings, but I definitely will look into them if I ever upgrade
