For whatever reason, these are constantly out of stock and are hard to find, but they just showed back up in stock today. This allows you to run a deeper oil filter than the one that comes stock with the Duramax.

Not shilling for PPE, but I’ve been checking their site daily for months waiting for these to come back around, so just a PSA for anyone else who might have been waiting. Ordered mine, and will get it installed during the upcoming oil change.
