Painted AT4X wheel mouldings

Anyone get their wheel molding color matched? My old 2014 Sierra had the GM accessories color matched mounding I really liked the look better than textured plastic. GM doesn’t offer painted flares for the AT4X style but the std mounding are available color matched for $700. I am in the northern Chicago suburbs and can’t find a body shop that will do color matching but I see a lot of trucks around that have had plastic parts color matched and can’t find where they got it done.

I’m going the other way. I have the black flares and have decided to do the lower rockers and bumpers in lineX light textured. Getting quotes this morning from the local shop. I photo shopped what I think it might look like. Though I think I will do the rockers below the AT4 logo.

I'm sure you would have to call with your paint code to order, maybe even ask if they will give you a rebate if you send your stock flairs back in?

Yeah they are $1800 but they do not allow you to send your parts in. You are basically having to buy another set of wheel flares from them then they paint them.

Thankfully GM sells ready to paint flairs for the non-X models. I bought some and painted myself, it was around $600-700 all said and done. Much cheaper than $1800, but your paying for the prep to smooth stock at4x flairs.

I am wondering if the standard painted flare from GM could would work by carefully trimming off the front few inches where the AT4X bumper is.
