2024 AT4X, bought new, 27,706 miles on it. Only issues so far, the grab handle haas a crack on it. Almost ready for new tires too.

Actually I have been driving in the desert for more than 10 years and I have enough experience but my problem that day was that the truck was fully loaded which gave me extra weight and the type of sand I was in was very soft and pulled me down quickly which made the truck get stuck from underneath. I tried to dig several times and every time when I tried to get out it would go back and sink.

But that's a pretty sight for sure.

Did not get stuck but decades ago we almost got lost in the Turkish desert during a severe sandstorm and only realized we were lost when we hit a 30' sand dune; we eventually found our way back to the highway. I was driving a 1978 Australian Ford Fairmont station wagon and I drove all the way from London UK to New Delhi India.

Growing up in the mountains of NC, I got to do today what I’ve not been able to do in 40 years. Get out on a workweek and raise hell in the snow. Always worried about trucks getting to customers, employees to the plants, getting feed to chickens, and just the headaches that come with snow on a workweek. This is why I wanted a truck after I retired. This thing goes great in the snow. Here in North West Arkansas we’re supposed to get 8-10” and I hope we get 12.
