I'm not recommending you go down to 43PSI or lower with your tires, just sharing my experience with mine; every tire is different. I run mine permanently at 43psi on pavement, snow, deep snow and loose and very bumpy/dusty trails although I'd run them lower if I was going off-road rock climbing etc. for which I'd prefer a tricked out jeep or an H1 hummer which are so rare now. I arrived at 43psi all around following a lot of trial and error with an 'irate wife' sitting beside me. She no longer complains of ride quality although still prefers we drive in her Honda CRV or my Benz (in good weather only).
