New Intake from North American Performance

Well I posted a a couple months back about simple bolt ons I could do for AT4X /6.2. Then this little miracle showed up on my algorithm. At first I thought it looked gimmicky. Parked my interest with a few YouTube videos and wild claims of power increases. Increases that didn’t involve breaking into the global B rabbit hole. Not to say that I won’t end up there anyway. Attached is a pic of the North American perf intake. I went conservative on my colour choice. This intake fit and finish is oem quality. Just as impressive is how the engine feels alive . While I can’t validate the numbers they claim. I know my X 6.2 feels much better, a little more of the hot rod I expected. Average fuel mileage has increased too. 14.3l/100 now 12.8l/100km.
Do your own research but definitely take a look at these.

Well, isn't that interesting. I'm intrigued. Any difference in throatiness in engine sound? The gas mileage increase sounds great, I'm already quite happy with the mileage I'm getting for a full size truck.

Yes definitely more intake sounds. There is a few holes in the back of the intake , you can remove the rubber grommets to adjust noise. It’s all very well thought out. Definitely happy with my purchase. I’d think if you got one you wouldn’t look back.
