Well first, AEV offers this modification for our trucks and GM still offers full factory warranty on the trucks. Two, the below federal laws help to protect us against unreasonable douche canoes trying to not honor the manufacture warranty.

AEV said the same as you… I don’t trust the car makers or extended warranty companies. Another downside is the 6” hole that snorkel requires. Sure looks nice though.

I thought about it for a small amount of time, however anything I've done to my rig, I can remove, and return the truck back to factory when I decide to upgrade. A 6inch hole in the fender is a big pill to swallow. Yet again, its part of the AEV package. Soooooo my advice, do what will make you happy now, its only money, and deal with the rest down the road. You only live once, and its only a truck.
