Need Help Getting Level

One can hope but they already quoted me a price for 2" blocks with labor. I get the labor but I asked why they don't just use the ones they took out. Said they were taken with recycling, they don't have room to keep every part taken off. I said maybe you should ask the customer if they want the takeoffs and they said usually they do.
We'll see how they handle this first but might be getting my wheels and tires somewhere else this summer.

Wow, that's a nice catch. I suggest you have the shop note their mistake in case you have a premature bag failure down the road. Hopefully, this won't be an issue, but you never know since the bags have been rubbing together incorrectly for however long you've had them installed.

Unless I'm missing something, the lower section of the bag doesn't look secured to the truck. It looks like they didn't install the lower roll plate, lower plate, and lower clamp brackets. See the picture from the install instructions (the parts in the red box are missing).

If you look at my pic the bottom the bag is sitting in some sort of cup. I'm guessing (hoping) they bolted that to the top of the spacer.

Agree with the bag rubbing. It will be 2 weeks to the day when I go back in. I'm running 8psi but still can't be good for them. Interested to see what they say. Also wondering what they did with the bottom bracket pieces. Fully expect them to say they don't have them.

I emailed the salesman the picture and a screen shot of the manual and said this is why my rear is lifted and it rides like sh*t. His response... "Maybe". Can already see what direction this is going to go.

Finally got back to the shop. They re-did the bottom of the bags the way they were supposed to be. Night and day difference in ride quality and the back of the truck dropped back down.

Just glad they took care of it without a fight.

I was just thinking about this thread this weekend when I installed my airbags. Glad they got you taken care of without a fight.

I can confirm after installing my airbags, they did not increase the rear height of the truck with minimal air in the bags.

After being installed correctly, the back dropped enough that I was about 1/4" high in the front. Probably from continuing to raise the front chasing the back. So I'm running 10psi empty and that puts me pretty level and still a comfortable ride.

I had mine done at dealership
I called GM first they of told me that whatever the dealership said would be fine
So then called 3 other dealerships and all of them told me the same thing
That when they level one as an add on to the sticker price that it s just the spacer $500 install and has no affect on the warranty if something happens
So l trusted them
We will see 7000 miles so far no issues at all

I waited until the warranty was up before messing with the suspension. It's all on me now anyways.

GM and the dealership can't void your warranty just because you installed airbags; they would have to prove the airbags caused whatever issue you were trying to have your warranty cover.

Dealership was referring to aftermarket upper control arms if ball joints go out
Or at least this is what I was told by the parts manager

A very long time ago I was told by a parts guy that if I didnt use the the OEM filter for oil filter changes I would void the warranty. Of course that is false.
