For two separate times now we've had the engine power reduced, service esc, service parking brake warnings come on directly after hitting either dips in the road or an off setting section of road. Both times after it's been shut off it will restart later that day with no lights on and run as normal.
I did replace the ground straps that are part of the TSB with 4 gauge sheathed ground cables because the OEM ones were green, there is this TSB on these, dealer just closed, and fiancee had an apt Monday morning. I twisted the greener of the two (passenger head to body) and it just started to come apart so it was pretty much toast. This was all last weekend on Sunday. Drove Monday to my fiancees post surgery followup apt. about 40 minutes or so round trip. Then drove again today to another doc apt. Halfway there hit a dip on the interstate and the dash lit up again with engine power reduced, service esc, service parking brake. Basically goes into a modified limp mode I guess. Doesn't say reduced speed in X miles or anything. Shift points and function sure are changed and the power is definately reduced.
I did have a Pulsar LT installed for the past nearly 3 years without issue until now. Pulled it this evening to see if it happens again but in the meantime is there any other main ground straps I'm not seeing just looking around that I should look into to see if those are also green and turning brittle? I know there is a short one from the negative to the body just under the cowl but it's sheathed and probably isn't a problem. I haven't gotten on the creeper yet and looked under the truck so not sure if the drives side also has a ground strap or not anywhere.
