Lock Automatic Assist Steps down?

I think what they were saying is the boards go up immediately when the door is closed. If you then open up the other door they have to come back down. On the the GMC there is a delay built in (not 5 minutes but certainly enough).

Yes, that is the default setting. But Ford also gives the extra setting with 5 minute delay
