Leveled and rear ended squats with weight

Check out Timbren. I had em on my last pickup and I liked em.
I agree That would be the best option they dont effect unloaded ride ( like airbags) but work great for sag had sumos ( same idea ) on my last 2 leveled trucks adjust air gap for how soon you want them to engage
I have mine at 1/2”

Are you usung a good wd hitch ?
1500 can be too stiff for 6-700 ln tongue wt and bounce
I tow 7100lbs with 1000lb sumos on my last truck and new 23 never changed shocks no sway or bounce
How much air gap between sumos and spring mount
I use and Anderson WDH. I’m still playing with the setup and getting close. I’m pressure I have the 1000lbs Sumo’s and this is about a 1in-1.5in gap when it’s unloaded. The bounce is really just when we go over rough highway, it bounces about 3 times and then settles down.

It may just be WD hitch adjust but 1-1/2” sumo airgap is Alot imo they usually come with a spacer to get them about 3/4” or less you may want to think sbout that
I set mine at 1/2”

I looked again and there is actually just a 1/2in gap. I also got the stock rear Rancho shocks replaced with new Rancho RS9000 XL adjustable shocks. Haven't yet towed with it but I can already tell that they are much better than stock. I have them in the #3 position and that feels really close to stock. I tried #5 and that also felt really good, definitely a bit firmer. Can't wait to tow with it and have it on #8 or #9. I've got a good feeling.

The cheapest way to add a little rake is to swap your rear blocks for taller ones or add a zero-rate add a leaf to your spring pack. Adding a taller block can increase axle rap if you do much offroading, especially in sand and loose dirt. If you want to improve your ride and raise the rear, a deaver mini pack is my go to, especially if you upgrade shocks to bilstein 5100s or fox 2.0 etc. only downside to the mini pack is that it requires some trial and error on installation to achieve your desired ride height. You can expect to spend around $800 if you do shocks/mini packs and are handy enough to install yourself. Results are fantastic imo.
Sumosprings are great, but if you're not adding a good deal of tongue weight, then they won't fix your issue since they are inactive until your suspension compresses at least 1/2". Roadmaster active suspension is supposedly a good product to add height/capacity to the rear without affecting the ride, but its not exactly cheap. However, install is fairly easy and it is adjustable, so if you start carrying added weight regularly, or start towing frequently, you can adjust for those loads appropriately.

I have a 2023 AT4 and installed the Ready Lift 1.75 kit on mine. I also installed a set of air bags on the rear to help with any extra weight. I have a topper on mine so it dropped a fair amount just from that. I use my truck for towing a fair amount and dont like it when it sags so I install air bags on all my trucks. I have found it does not effect my ride at all.
Which airbags did you install and what PSI is your sweet spot? I have the same truck, but installing a mid-high topper and a decked system and I'm also anticipating some squatting.

Thanks EdgerlyB for bumping this thread up. I was starting to look at airlift systems but am now intrigued by the Timbren SES. Only issue is that the Timbren kit for the Sierra 1500 is for stock height only. With the factory lift and RL 2" SST it would need a spacer kit as well and they don't have one listed to work. I contacted customer service and they stated it would be a special order. Has anyone actually installed the SES on their 1500 AT4?
