Change in plans on shocks: sent the Fabtech rear shocks back and bought this package from Bilstein Lifts.

Let me know how you like the set. I just put this kit on this weekend. It has made the biggest noticeable change I've made to the truck so far. I highly recommend you swap out the stock rancho shocks.

mind giving us the link to the ones you bought?! One of the first mods i plan on doing. has anyone added the light up GMC symbol? I'm worried it'll look too "ricer" and not eloquent. lol

Received the Bilstein’s today. Very fast shipping from Bilsteinlifts.com Will install Saturday and review them then. I noticed on their website they have some in stock as of now if anyone is interested.

Installed the Bilstein Shocks on front & rear. After driving about 50 miles on highway, dirt and pasture roads and allowing to settle: gained about an 1” of height on front. All UCA and angles are good. Ride is firmer but much better. No more bouncing and hopping like the Easter bunny. Also did a front end alignment just to be sure. I’ll check headlights at night later to see if or how much they need adjusting.
