Hey everybody, I had a few general questions to see if anybody had made these updates or not. After watching a bunch of videos on Banks power it seems like there is a fundamental issue with the oil pan, retaining oil in the bottom of the pan and in the oil pump tube. I’ve also read several articles where people have lost an engine within the first year to two due to pour engine oil. The factory or dealers are denying claims saying that these owners have not been changing their oil even when they have reported documentation of them doing that. Thanks power makes a really cool oil pan that eliminates this issue, but also requires additional quarts of oil. Is this on anybody else’s radar?

Not one bit.

There is not an issue of retaining used oil in the pan if you drive the front axle up on a set of ramps and dump the oil.

Wouldn't worry about what little of used oil left in pan if it was drained flat on the ground or up on a lift. Maybe if the oil had 20k miles on it or more, or was contaminated with coolant or sparkles.
