After having my whole exhaust system replaced (turbo included) due to oil ingestion and a clogged cat, I added a Mann Hammel catch can as well.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Especially if towing.

The amount of oil that is pulled through the CCV is ridiculous. Prior to installation, I had standing oil from the intercooler all the way to the turbo inlet when my truck went in for repair.

Since install, my DEF use is WAY down and my MPG are up. Easily AVG 24/25MPG on highway at 65mph.

I believe a GOOD catch a is critical to maintaining reliability and longevity of the exhaust system.
