"Inner tailgate open"

RANT.... I hate the "Inner tailgate open" warning... Why / who cares? If its open , probably because I have something longer than the bed. And highly unlikely it'll get crushed backing up...

That being said. I WANT, a tailgate open icon / warning with the dismissal option. In 30 years of tailgates I have only once driven away and forgot it was open and lost the milk crate of tools. BUT I have started to pull away many times, only to remember and get out and close it... Yes I can use the camera to verify. but a simple icon and dismiss would be nice..

I think the inner gate open is useless.

You should have a dismiss tailgate open on the dic, just like the innergate open warning. The innergate trumps just the tailgate open warning. At least on the pre-re's. gm eliminated the 12v socket and other goodies, maybe that was discontinued also?

Ever since gm eliminated the ball sack vent, they have gone downhill!
