Then all I can say FL residents are sucking the entire internet bandwidth and you are left with a few scraps. It's not a data issue. Im actually still on free data trial and it comes and goes. I guess I should have been more clear.....

Try the system reset/refresh procedure. After the truck is running, turn it off, then open the drivers door and leave it open for 5 min. Then all I can say FL residents are sucking the entire internet bandwidth and you are left with a few scraps.Move to beautiful WA and we will gaurantee you a decent signal.

I believe I have provided sufficient data points in this thread to rule out a data issue. It's not a big deal and I dont plan to spend a lot of time searching for the root cause. I read the speed limit signs anyway and if not I drive the fastest speed that I believe will not get me a ticket and that has served me well for the last 25-30 years with one speeding ticket in a clearly tourism motivated speed trap in a lonely 35 mph zone on a 4 lane road leaving Gatlinburg TN.Absolutely no such issue here, locks on even before I get out of my driveway; It really needs a good strong internet signal; it used to take a minute or two when I was using my phone hotspot as a wifi network for the truck, and now with a dedicated LTE/Hotspot with T-Mobile data plan (thanks to my Blackvue Dashcam) it is instantaneous. I often switch off my dashcam backup battery when in the garage to prevent unnecessary drain, then before driving off I enable it again and it instantly enables the hotspot and connects to Blackvue Cloud in almost 30 seconds thereafter. I've only had this new setup for ten days and its functioning flawlessly.
I suggest taking the time to park on the side when the sign disappears (only if safe and feasible) and checking if it returns at that point and also if you have the means, connect to your vehicle hotspot and measure signal strenght. My suggestion may be meaningless but worth a shot. You want to try and get to the root cause if possible, internet signal strenght, navigation map or a GMS Infotainment system flaw.
Only 8?! There's a town about an hour from me, speed is 55 then drops to 30 for this 3 block town and they will ticket for 31. The two cruisers are also Tahoes that get replaced every 2yrs. No mystery how they get paid for. When I was on patrol my rule was anything over 8 MPH over was a citation...unless you could convince me to giving you a warning, which happened numerous times. BUT that was a LONG time ago!
