How do you permanently turn off Sirius XM?

I listen to just a handful of local radio stations when driving, usually public radio, and have the stereo set to those few stations. I have completely turned off all known subscriptions, both audio and otherwise on our truck. Don't need them, won't EVER use them.

The trouble is, about every 3rd or 4th start, when I turn the radio on, It's on some channel begging me to get my subscription in order for Sirius XM. I have to go to the audio section of the screen and purposely-select one of the pre-selected FM radio stations. I find that so annoying, I'm really starting to reconsider any long-term relationship with this thing.

Is there any way for ME to disable the constant nagging for the XM radio crap??? Thanks.

Must be a refresh programming.

I don't have that issue on 3 pre-re's. Once the 3 month trial ended, never have any idea xm is on the infotainment system.

I used to have XM in my mercedes since there was no spotify back in 2007; then I cancelled it I think a year or so later. I don't think I get any nagging XM crap in my truck but will re-validate that next time I select FM
