How big can tires go?

New here, looking for real world experience from people.

Completely stock 2025 1500 AT4 LZ0. Came with 275/60R20 tires on the 20x9 silver machined wheels with dark pockets. I will be keeping the factory wheels.

I want to put new tires on but not modify anything else. No level, lift, no wheel spacers, etc. Fine with minor trimming. Have the dealer mudflaps that hang down 6-8" from the wheel well.

I'm pretty set on non-LT rated Toyo Open Country AT3's. That said, what are the biggest tire sizes (and tire model suggestions) people have fit on stock rims and suspension?

I put 275/65/20's on. I think that would be max. I have a "tiny" rub full left turn on the passenger side. Not cutting or mods.

What brand tire did you go with at this size(275/65/R20)?

I put 275-65 on my stock 20 rims after I had already leveled the front to match the back with a rough country 1.75. No rub witb no cutting. Mud flaps came on mine. Any more and i would have had to cut.

Hey man, i had this exact debate on my stock AT4 1500 V8. I ended up going with the Toyo AT3 285/60/20. This size was very specific because it was wider and taller than stock and the most important part is that this tire comes in a P-Rated (Standard Load) version. Every other tire in this size range that you are listing are all E rated and are 20lbs heavier PER tire. I do not tow often and wanted to be sure i retained my gas mileage and peppiness of the v8.

Bought them today and am extremely happy. Zero rub at full lock in any direction so far.
