The Onstar features are not included for three years like they were up until 2023. Now there is a trial period and you have you pay for the subscription as GM is not charging you in the price of the vehicle.

You mean the full feature list including data; Onstar data is free for the trial period only although remote start and connected services may be included (as several of us have) for an extended period, 3 years and 8 years, with no subscription until they expire.

Yep, alot of apps work like that. Soo much faster.

It’s just idiotic that the old app you just clicked a command.
Having to press and hold for confirmation with the app open but if you use the shortcut it’s just a click. I never open the app anymore now.

I didn't know you could do that with the app. The only time I kept pressing an app was to delete it. Now I know how my dad feels.

mine use to start this way WITHOUT the app needing to open, now it seems to require me to do face ID and the app has to launch for it to work. Anyone experiencing the same?

I only use the app for remote start etc. no face ID etc., that may be how you set your phone up.
