GMC Sierra AT4 Door Not Closing Properly – Anyone Else Had This Issue?

Hello everyone.

Has anyone else had an issue with the door on their GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 not closing properly? I’ve noticed that my door sometimes needs an extra push before the latch catches completely.

It doesn’t happen every time, but it seems to be becoming more frequent.

I checked the latch and striker area, but nothing looks obviously damaged or loose. The door also seems slightly harder to close than the others.

Before I take it to the dealer, I wanted to see if this is a common AT4 issue or something that can be fixed with a simple adjustment.

Any advice or similar experiences?

My dad had something similar on his 25 suburban. Turned out to be some module they replaced in the back door. He couldn't close it and when it did, the lock button wouldn't always work. Take it to the dealer
