I had the switch on the 3500drw replaced 4 weeks ago.

Think I received a notification week before last...part installed Tuesday.

My dealer told me there were no parts just two weeks ago, only a "remedy" which was to disable the switch but I told them no I don't want that. I've had the truck just over a year with zero issues.

My SA said he thinks gm is releasing parts only to certain areas at a time. Not to overwhelm the country all at once.

So deciphering that, gm doesn't have enough parts yet?

I called my dealer just a bit ago. I guess it was a month ago that I was told no parts available yet. He said a week later they were told they could order the switch so mine will be here later this week.

Never had an issue so I’ll leave it since I preemptively applied a bush fix eve before I had an issue.
