GM continues to be a let down

Update: The final repair attempt did not work. The vibration and harmonic drone are even more noticeable. So last Friday evening, I got a text from the service advisor saying they need me to bring the truck back when I have time. I asked for what, as that was the final repair attempt. The field service engineer GM sent out was not there to perform their final assessment and report prior to me picking it up, yet I was told it was ready to be picked up. I even did another test drive with the tech. I told them this was not my issue and followed the law. Fast forward to today, and GM calls and states they cannot approve the buyback until I do this, even though they have the tech's report on record. So, I gave them an ultimatum that I witness what the field service engineer does on their final inspection because, at this point, I do not trust them or anything I have been told. They are trying to schedule that appointment as I type this. I am bending over backward for these clowns. In most cases, I am too stubborn to agree to do something like bring it back, but I know that is my only option to get rid of this POS other than hire an attorney, and then this drags out for another 3-4 months. What's a complete shitshow. GM YOU SHOULD BE FUCKING ASHAMED!
I agree with you completely! Not sure if you read but mine died last Wednesday. Started the "death tick" and then it locked up 12 miles after I left work headed to the dealership. Haven't heard anything just yet but I don't know that I trust GM right now with what's happened to my tuck and the recent events with my wife's Yukon. Not to mention while driving the Yukon Saturday I started smelling an ammonia-like odor. According to Google.....freon has an ammonia odor...so.....I may be jumping ship shortly myself

Good luck with GM though....I hope you get a quick resolve!

That sucks. I was at the car wash Saturday, and this guy pulls up to me in a sweet-looking 2023 3500 Silverado. So out of curiosity, I asked him if he had had any issues, and sure enough, at 27k, the tranny was fully replaced. So I reached out to a buddy who has a 3500 Denali ultimate and sure enough he just had the valve body replaced at 37k. Now, both said they have not had issues since, but in a matter of a couple minutes two people shared they both had issues on trucks less than two years old. This is insanity at this point. Keep us posted on your truck.

@FlipsAT4 I’m confused, if you cooperate, you win, you get a new truck or your money back. Why wouldn’t you just drop it off again, you have already won, now it’s just details and paperwork (probably another few months so be patient)
1. Cause I already dropped it off for the final repair attempt. 2. They aren't following TX law.

The case rep called today to say the field engineer would be in today or tomorrow but couldn't get a time and it has been escalated per the rep because the engineer doesn't communicate with the them. I told them I can't just drop work and life when this douche canoe decides they want to show up. So another week wasted waiting. If I do not hear anything tomorrow I am hiring an attorney next week, filing a complaint with every applicable consumer protection agency, going to social media and the local news. It's a moral and integrity issue for me at this point and I can play this game just as well as they think they can.

Just wondering if you can say what dealership this is at?

Your not going to win… cooperate, ask for a loaner… get a lawyer, the manufacturers are smarter then you, especially if your uncooperative.
