My truck got its first experience in the Nevada desert, while antelope hunting recently as the Hondaside-by-side, experienced a massive sidewall bead puncture with no spare.
Question: It did just fine, but the steering/steering linkage seemed to be jumpy or like it had a little left/right rattle. Almost like it wanted a steering stabilizer although maybe it does. I haven’t looked. Hundred percent there’s nothing wrong with the truck there’s no missing or loose bolts. It’s just the factory steering felt like a little play there as it went over rocks left, and right left and right. I’ve never experienced that in my 40 years of off-road all kinds of vehicles. Any thoughts?

Yeah the stock GM steering is known to be loose and wobbly from factory. If you want it tight you should invest in kryptonite ultimate steering with a stabilizer.

Try the stabilizer first.

Just like your missing grab handle, gm deleted the steering stabilizer years ago. But the center drag link still has the mounting hole for one.
