First Off-Roading Trip

Agreed, especially with an auxiliary tank. Just not in the budget and I'll use just as much on tires as the bags.
Way way back, decades ago, in my hand built truck/suv built on a Nissan Jonga chassis, powered by a straight six mercedes diesel engine, it was equipped with air brakes, had an onboard engine driven air compressor and 10/15gal air tank and outlet built into one lower side of the truck. It was easy to attach an airhose and inflate tires; not quite like a Hummer but was great. I need to dig up some exterior photos of the beast.

I dropped to 30psi in Moab and did about ~120 miles of off-road. No problems and a lot more comfortable for sure. Anything less than that I'd be weary of a sidewall puncture, but you won't lose the bead at low speeds unless you bind the tire between some rocks while turning. I'm looking forward mounting some BFG KO3s when they come out so I can get something with a more substantial sidewall, but the factory Goodyears were fine.

Also, Morrflate compressor and multi-tire inflation FTW.

What length is your Morrflate hose kit?
