Well this is my first GMC after having Toyotas for years.

I hear ya! I traded in a perfectly good Ford on my 21- but I do have sport mode! I’m starting to have tranny issues with only 4K miles and I do not trust these motors. I will look at the Toyota’s in a couple of years once they have the bugs worked out or maybe a lot sooner depending on this tranny issue.

I just broke 300 miles. I’m glad I found someone else with the same thing, I searched and searched and couldn’t find anyone else or any info on it. I thought I was just my truck at first.

A massive lawsuit over an option the truck doesn't have? Was it listed on the sticker? Was it marketed to him? There is a difference between a mistake, than willful deception. This sounds like a mistake due to the chip manufacturing cluster f***. Sport mode is completely worthless on a truck in the first place.

There is another forum where somebody was calling for a massive lawsuit because his previous truck had 3 years of onstar, and his new one doesn't. He didn't realize he paid for that 3 years (on the sticker) in price of the previous truck, and his new truck didn't include that $1500 option.
