Disconnecting batteries?

Those map sensor blocks are a joke. But if you don't disconnect the plug off the sensor, you won't have to disconnect batteries.

The joke is the block gets sooted up, instead of the sensor. So a person will have to maintain one or the other.

I removed the two I had installed. I just keep a spare sensor in the toolbox. Also clean every other oil change. But I'm going to extend that out to every 4 changes, unless it's really terrible.
Don you have the part # for the OE (assuming) MAP sensors?
 

I get that but meant whatever Chrisbert is trying to do with map sensor blocks etc.
That bulb in the center of the cage should be blue. If you get a P0101 code, clean your sensor.

For as cheap as they are, throw a 13580230 injector pigtail in your toolbox, also. Ice picking doesn't always work. See above photo.
